Methodology

How we built this ranking

Measure: Share of homes where fiber at 100/20 Mbps or faster is reported.

Who is included: Towns and cities with a page on this site and at least 1,000 FCC locations (homes and businesses). Ties are broken by number of locations, larger first.

Sources: FCC National Broadband Map (provider filings as of December 30, 2025); U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS 5-year 2020-2024). Rankings are computed by software from these files; no figure is estimated by us.

Limits: these are area summaries, not address checks. Providers can serve one street and not the next. Read our methodology · Editorial policy
